What would you do for 100 miles? Athlete Courtney Carter will be RUNNING them! 100 miles means something different to people around the world. For some, it’s the weekly distance they cover to collect necessities, for others, it’s the distance to safe refuge, and still for others, it’s something more. Global Action Institute is partnering with runner Courtney Carter as she takes on the Rocky Raccoon 100-mile ultra marathon on February 1st, 2025, to make these 100 miles matter.
Pledging the smallest amount per mile of Courtney’s race could make a life-changing difference for one of the children in our partnered orphanage located in Arusha, Tanzania.
Pledge amounts:
10 cents per mile ($10): Provides a weekly supply of fruit for two children.
20 cents per mile ($20): Provides a set of school supplies for one student.
50 cents per mile ($50): Provides nutritious meals for a student for a full month.
$1 per mile ($100): Cover the cost of textbooks for one student for a year.
